People in Yemen are suffering from poverty and many do not have the ability to buy Qurban for Eid al Adha 

Eid ul-Adha is one of the biggest celebrations for Muslims. It's the moment when families around the world gather together to commemorate the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim to Allah. On that day, cattle animals such as sheep, cows and goats are sacrificed and the meats are distributed to those in need. Unfortunately, not everyone could afford to perform Qurbani or enjoy the meat. A big number of Muslim community in Yemen live below the poverty line due to the ongoing conflict and as a result of the economic crisis and also because of the repercussions of the spread of the pandemic, covid-19.

Republic of Yemen Iqra'a charity & development society will organize Ibadah Qurban programme 1441H/2020M 

The sacrifice project for this year targets the poor, the needy and those who have lost their source of income and are unable to provide the most basic necessities due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic and to meet their needs on the day of slaughter through distribution of udhiya meat on the Eid Al-Adha feast. A number of 400 needy Asnaf and Muallaf, less previledged families  in Yemen will benefit from this project. Thus, and to find way of success to this initiative program, we need your support to buy urban sheep for those underprivileged families. One sheep costs around RM 420. 

The smiles on the children's faces say it all - how it warms the heart to have been able to bring back some cheer in such challenging times.
