But today, we face a harsh reality. The Khan Younis Municipality, which has always been a beacon of services, now finds itself in the midst of daily suffering, grappling with numerous difficulties that prevent it from providing even the most basic essential services. Water, a fundamental right, has become a distant dream for many, especially in neighborhoods hosting displaced people

The water shortage in Khan Younis has become a true tragedy, forcing residents to undertake arduous journeys to fetch water from distant sources, while occupying forces continue to destroy the wells and tanks that once provided hope to the people

More than 350,000 residents live in these areas, enduring harsh conditions due to water shortages
