My father’s name is Devarajan, an OKU Warga Emas, and diabetic patient, and has no insurance coverage.

How did it all start:

Early May 2019, my beloved father accidentally got a wound at his right ankle bone. So, he went for dressing at KK Sek 7 for almost a month. The iodine dressing that has been done at KK Sek7 worsen the diabetic wound and made it bigger. Hence, - even that we couldn't really afford it - we went to see a wound specialist 

         as my father was suffering more and his pain was getting worse, we couldn't tolerate seeing him in that way.

While getting treatment with the wound specialist, the doctor suspected my dad might have blocks at his veins which causes the blood to not flow to the wound and he suggested us to do a CT scan at Assunta Hosp to cut queue waiting at government hospital since my father’s wound was getting bigger at that time.

Unfortunately:

The CT scan result came with 2 blocks at his leg, so they quickly asked us to do angioplasty operation to deblock the veins, so we did the surgery at Assunta Hosp. and my father was admitted within a period of 2 weeks at that time. But, One week after being discharged, the wounded leg accidentally splashed with water while my father was taking a bath. We quickly dried the wound and assumed nothing serious.

The next day:

coincidentally my father was having an appointment at KK Sek 7, his blood pressure reduced a lot and the blood test results showed that the white blood cell was high triple than the normal range. The wound was badly infected, and they said that we ought to inject antibiotics. They brought my darling father to the emergency department of Shah Alam hospital around 12 noon and let him sit in a wheelchair for 6 hours! It was a hard time on me as his daughter when they transferred him to the emergency bed, After that, they send him to the waiting room in the ward at 8 pm, and at around 11 pm they informed us that the antibiotics injection will be given next morning at 4 am only.

MY FATHER WAS GETTING VERY WEAK AS THEY ASKED HIM TO FAST THE WHOLE DAY. AND THAT MADE US ALL FEEL SO SAD AND HOPELESS.

WE GOT REALLY WORRIED AND OUR WOUND SPECIALIST DOCTOR INFORMED US THAT MY FATHER MUST GET THE INJECTION THE SOONEST POSSIBLE, OTHERWISE, THE INFECTION MIGHT SPREAD TO HIS LUNGS AS WELL

What happened NEXT :

We discharge my father at 12 midnight and quickly admit him again at Assunta Hospital. He was admitted there for 1 month as his white cells were reducing gradually. He was given 2 packets of blood as his red cells also reduced.

After 1 Month :

My dear father got very weak due to getting 4 injections per day, he lost 15 kg weight. And we were worried about his kidney because of overdoses of antibiotics.

SUDDENLY :

His toes started to become very cold and change to black color in the 4th week of his admission.  When the doctors checked, they said the veins going to toes are blocked again and the blood was not flowing. Since the veins near toes are very tiny, they couldn’t do any more procedures.

They said the only suggestion is to cut the leg below or above the knee.

We were really shocked at that time because after spending a lot on his treatment, in the end, they are saying like this. Then one of my relatives asked us to go check at one Chinese Rehabilitation center at Klang.

The Solution :

There is a Master known as Mr. Wong, he provides treatment for such cases. We sought his opinion and he said that he guarantees he can completely cure my father’s leg. Now we are in the 3rd-month treatment with him. The Master managed to stop the pus (nanah) at the wound within 2 weeks. But the Master said the treatment will take another 2 to 3 months maximum to complete cure. We need to pay the Master for his daily treatment, his organic medicine, and powder dressing materials.

Bagaimana ia bermula:

Pada awal Mei 2019, ayah saya yang tercinta tanpa sengaja telah mendapat luka di tulang pergelangan tangan kanannya. Dia pergi untuk membalut lukanya di KK Sek 7 selama hampir sebulan. Balutan iodin yang dilakukan di KK Sek7 membuatkan luka diabetiknya semakin teruk dan menjadi lebih besar. Oleh itu, kami bertemu pakar luka kerana ayah saya semakin kesakitan. Semasa mendapatkan rawatan dengan pakar luka, doktor mengesyaki bahawa saluran darahnya tersumbat dan mengahalang darah dari mengalir. Doktor mencadangkan kami melakukan pemeriksaan CT di Assunta Hosp untuk mempercepatkan rawatan kerana menunggu giliran di Hospital kerajaan akan mengambil masa yang lama, sedangkan luka ayah saya semakin membesar.

MALANGNYA:

Hasil imbasan CT membuktikan terdapat 2 saluran yang tersumbat. Mereka meminta kami melakukan pembedahan angioplasti dengan segera dan ayah saya telah menjalani pembedahan tersebut di Assunta Hosp dan telah dimasukkan ke dalam wad selama 2 minggu. Seminggu selepas ayah keluar dari hospital, ayah telah tersiram air pada kakinya yang luka semasa dia sedang mandi. Kami segera mengeringkan luka tersebut dan menganggap semuanya akan baik.

HARI BERIKUTNYA:

Pada hari berikutnya, kebetulan ayah mempunyai janji temu di KK Sek 7, dan kami diberitahu bahawa tekanan darahnya berkurang dan ujian darah menunjukkan sel darah putih adalah tiga kali lebih tinggi daripada biasa. Lukanya itu dijangkiti kuman dan dia memerlukan suntikan antibiotik. Mereka membawa ayah saya ke hospital kecemasan di hospital Shah Alam sekitar jam 12 tengah hari dan biarkan dia duduk di kerusi roda selama 6 jam, dan saya tidak sanggup untuk melihat dia menderita ketika mereka memindahkannya ke katil kecemasan. Selepas itu, ayah dipindahkan ke bilik menunggu pada jam 8 malam, dan pada sekitar 11 ​​malam kami dimaklumkan bahawa suntikan antibiotik akan diberikan pada jam 4 pagi esok sahaja. والدي العزيز، الذي رعاني منذ صغري وعشت معه أجمل لحظات عمري، أصيب بعطب في رجله بعد اصابته بمرض السكري والان لا يستطيع التحرك على قدميه،وأتألم لرؤيته كذلك كثيرا ، وحتى أنه  لا يملك تأمين لتغطية مصاريف علاجه

:بداية القصة

بدأت في مايو سنة 2019 ، أصيب والدي الحبيب بطريق الخطأ في عظم الكاحل الأيمن. لذلك ،اضطر الى العلاج الطبيعي لمدة سبع أشهر ، وقد قام بتضميد اليود الذي تم في KK Sek7 مما أدى إلى تفاقم الجرح السكري وجعله أكبر. وبالتالي ، نكن قادرين ذهبنا لرؤية طبيب متخصص في الجراح، حتى ولو أننا لم نستطع تحمل التكاليف لعلاجه.

         لأن والدي كان يعاني أكثر وألمه يزداد سوءًا ، لم نتمكن من تحمل رؤيته بهذه الطريقة.

أثناء العلاج مع أخصائي الجرح ، اشتبه الطبيب في أن أبي قد يكون لديه كتل في عروقه مما يتسبب في عدم تدفق الدم إلى الجرح ، واقترح علينا إجراء فحص بالأشعة المقطعية في Assunta Hosp لخفض قائمة الانتظار في المستشفى الحكومي ومنذ ذلك الحين  كان جرح أبي يكبر في ذلك الوقت.

:لسوء الحظ

جاءت نتيجة الفحص بالأشعة المقطعية مع كتلتين في ساقه ، لذا طلبوا منا بسرعة إجراء عملية رأب الأوعية لإلغاء الأوردة ، لذا قمنا بإجراء الجراحة في Assunta Hosp. وقد تم قبول والدي في غضون فترة أسبوعين في ذلك الوقت

ولكن بعد أسبوع واحد من خروجه ، رُجلت الساق المصابة بالماء بينما كان أبي يستحم. جففنا بسرعة الجرح ولم نفترض شيئًا خطيرً

:في اليوم التالي

صادف أن والدي كان لديه موعد في KK Sek 7 ، فقد انخفض ضغط دمه كثيرًا وأظهرت نتائج فحص الدم أن خلايا الدم البيضاء كانت عالية ثلاث مرات عن المعدل الطبيعي. كان الجرح مصابًا بشدة ، وقالوا إنه يتعين علينا حقن المضادات الحيوية.

أحضروا والدي الغالي إلى قسم الطوارئ في مستشفى شاه علم حوالي الساعة 12 ظهراً وتركوه يجلس على كرسي متحرك لمدة 6 ساعات! كان ذلك وقتًا عصيبًا على أسرته وخاصة علي فلم أتوقف عن البكاء تلك اللحظة عندما نقلوه إلى سرير الطوارئ ، وبعد ذلك ، أرسلوه إلى غرفة الانتظار في الجناح في الساعة 8 مساءً ، وفي حوالي الساعة 11 مساءً أبلغونا أن حقن المضادات الحيوية سيعطى له في صباح اليوم التالي في الساعة 4 صباحا 

كان والدي قد خسر الكثير من وزنه ،حيث طلبوا منه أن يصوم يومًا كاملاً. وهذا ما جعلنا نشعرتجاهه بالأسى لرؤية جسده النحيل يزداد سوءا يوما بعد يوم

أخبرنا طبيبنا المختص بأن والدي يجب أن يتم علاجه بأسرع وقت ، عدا ذلك ، قد تنتشر العدوى إلى رئتيه أيضًا

 

بعد شهر

كان والدي العزيز ضعيفًا جدًا بسبب حصوله على 4 حقن يوميًا ، فقد من وزنه 15 كجم. وكنا قلقين بشأن كليته بسبب جرعات زائدة من المضادات الحيوية.

 

فجأة 

أصابع قدميه أصبحت باردة للغاية وتغير لونها في الأسبوع الرابع من قبوله

عندما فحص الأطباء ، قالوا إن الأوردة التي تصل إلى أصابع القدم أغلقت مرة أخرى وأن الدم لا يتدفق. نظرًا لأن الأوردة القريبة من أصابع القدم بالغة الصغر ، لم يتمكنوا من القيام بأي إجراء 

قالوا إن الاقتراح الوحيد هو قطع الساق من أسفل الركبة 

لقد صدمنا حقًا في ذلك الوقت لأنه بعدصرف الكثير على علاجه ، في النهاية ، ستبتر ساقه ،ثم طلب منا أحد أقربائي أن نزور مركز إعادة التأهيل الصيني في كلانج

:العلاج 

لقد وجدنا ولله الحمد السيد الذي سيساعدنا في علاج والدي ، المعروف باسم السيد وونغ ، وهو يقدم العلاج لمثل هذه الحالات. طلبنا رأيه وقال إنه يضمن أنه قادر على علاج ساق أبي تمامًا

الآن نحن نحاول ان نعالجه مدة 3 أشهر،والحمد لله تمكن السيد من إيقاف القيح في الجرح خلال أسبوعين

لكن السيد قال إن العلاج سيستغرق 2 إلى 3 أشهر أخرى كحد أقصى لاستكمال العلاج

 نحن بحاجة إلى دفع مصاريف لعلاجه اليومي ، وأدويته العضوية ، وغيرها من المصاريف الأخرى
