WHEN LIFE HARDENS ON YOU, YOU FIND YOURSELF ALONE, AGAINST ITS STORY WINDS

Haider is a Yemeni father and he has a family of 9 members, they all live in a small room in which the simplest necessities are not available. Due to the situation of the ongoing conflict in Yemen, Haidar was forced with the rest of his family to flee from his city, Aden, which used to be a safe place where he had good work and peaceful life, leaving all his belongings and possessions. And looking for security and peace for his family.

Haider is now unemployed and cannot afford to rent a house with more space and rooms for his wife and children who are in dire need of privacy and suffer from poor living in the current room that he also need to pay its rent

The Father Haidar says when life is difficult for you, you find yourself alone, against the winds of its story. And Life chances and opportunities may be reduced to the size of a one-room store. This is Haidar and his family, after their lives narrowed and they were displaced from their home, and found themselves crammed into a small shop as everything else in their lives.

After the dawn prayer, the Father Haidar goes to the marketplace looking for job to do and earn some wages, he stays there until noon, until he finds a way to get some basic money, which may not be enough for him to meet the food needs of his family of 9. Unfortunately, Haider often leaves the market and returns home with empty hands, and empty stomach and without an opportunity to work.

Adding to the difficulty of the family's life is the disability suffered by one of their sons as a result of the explosion of an artillery shell in 2016. This happened when the boy was on his way to the mosque, and the shell was fired at the area in which he and a number of other people were walking, the son was transported quickly to the hospital by ambulance, where he underwent a number of surgeries, including the removal of some artillery shell shrapnel from his body. After a while, doctors told the father that another piece of shrapnel had stuck in his shoulder joint, disabling his arm and making the rest of his life miserable.

The Haidar family lives a colorless life, waiting for kind hearts to color it.
