If faith is Yemeni, as the Rasool (s.a.w) said, then what does it say about our faith if we have no concern for the people of Yemen? The Prophet (s.a.w.) mentioned that one of the most beloved acts to Allah (s.w.t) is that you feed a beloved brother or sister who is hungry a loaf of bread.

In Yemen alone, due to the current conflict there, more than two million children are malnourished. Aid workers say almost half a million of them are suffering from extreme hunger and are at grave risk. On average, one child under the age of five dies of preventable causes every 10 minutes, and an estimated 22.2 million people in Yemen need some kind of humanitarian or protection assistance, including 11.3 million who are in acute need, and within this population, a staggering 14 million people are at risk of starvation. That's half of Yemen's population.

“There is now a clear and present danger of an imminent and great, big famine engulfing Yemen”, Mark Lowcock, the undersecretary for humanitarian affairs, told the Security Council.
• 60% of the population, 18 million people, are food insecure!
• 8.4 million people do not know how they will obtain their next meal
• 55% of the population, 16 million people, do not have regular access to safe water and basic food.
