Campaign background:

The Malaysian Prime Minister's Office announced a complete lockdown on 01/06/21  which starts today after the country logged an all-time record of 8,290 Covid-19 cases.
the decision was made after Malaysia crossed the 8,000 mark in cases and active infections had reached a staggering tally of 70,000 cases. Now all sectors are not allowed to operate during this first phase of lockdown except for essential economic and services sectors. There were a total of 2,552 deaths as of today and the numbers are rising. The emergence of several new variants which are ferocious with a faster and higher rate of infectivity also influenced this decision.

The recent spike in daily cases had also caused hospital capacity to treat Covid-19 patients nationwide, to become increasingly diminished.

Challenge:

Now imagine what the living conditions of the affected families by this lockdown, those poor people who already suffer shortage of food and barely can find what to eat, how will they manage the situation?  and how are they going to survive hunger while they are just staying at home where nobody knows about them and their suffering.
It is such a big opportunity for us and every kind soul to look after these people and get rewarded by the almighty Allah, 

How can you help?!

Seven Spikes plan to exploit this chance and ask all generous people to support with any kind of donation level in order to distribute food baskets to the vulnerable affected people, the aim is to provide 1000 families consist of an approximate number of 4000 persons with essential food baskets.

Our target is to collect RM 70000

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: "مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ، يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِما سَتَرَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، وَاَللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ"

Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother. 

This kind gesture of support will spread smiles for needy families and prove to the underprivileged who are often neglected that the world we live in is full of caring people. Seven spikes believe that when we act together, we can change the world for the better.
