It is considered that watering and quenching thirsty people and animals is the best charity in hot weather, rescue from salvation, a reason of forgiveness, and blessing in sustenance.

It was narrated by Sa'd bin 'Ubadah that his mother died. He said:

"O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died; can I give charity on her behalf?" He said: "Yes." He said: "What kind of charity is best?" He said: "Providing drinking water."

We can’t spend a day without water. However, in many conflict-affected areas, years of violence have taken a toll on the water infrastructures, leading millions of people to no access to safe drinking water. They have to spend a day searching for it,  many families in conflict-affected countries are unable to access clean water.

Through this project, Fikr Organization (FODHA) and Ensany Humanitarian will be directing donations towards providing water to the needy, displaced, and highly damaged people of Taiz, Yemen. That is because it suffers from a scarcity of water and its high price. As it is the most populated city which suffers from war, siege, high prices, and widespread diseases.
