Contribute to helping the poor from the camps in
northern Syria
Project Description:
Zahra lives in the tent with her 9 family members, and their
situation is in extreme poverty. They cannot buy anything of their basic needs
because of the lack of money they have and because of the difficult living
conditions, which led to the lack of the basic necessities of life, from
furniture for housing and living to heating materials and other needs. In
addition, the tent itself is no longer habitable.
As the random camps are the most affected, as they are built on
agricultural lands or among olive trees, which causes problems between the
displaced and the owners of the lands if they want to benefit from them.
Project Significance:
Most of the camp residents in northern Syria depend on primitive
heating materials, which are unusable because of their danger, since the tents
are made of cloth, which helps in the outbreak of large fires that may spread
to large parts of the camp, which caused the death and injury of dozens of
children and women.
They also depend on old clothes and coal, in addition to old gas
and kerosene heaters in the heating process, due to their low price compared to
diesel fuel and safe heaters.
This happens because they are unable to afford proper heating
materials due to the extreme poverty they suffer from in these camps.
Need and financial study:
Furniture for the tent to be habitable: $200.
Appropriate heating materials: $300.
Winter clothing for 9 family members: 450 dollars.
1 charcoal fireplace: 50 dollars.
Be a contributor to
helping Zahra change her and her family's life for the better.
