Project Idea:

Yemen has been living for ten years and more in a state of instability and conflict that has forced many families to leave their homes and go to displacement camps in safe places and cities, and the displaced people in those camps face difficult human suffering, on the one hand, the interruption of income sources, the interruption of salaries, and inflation that has increased the burden on their shoulders. As well as the financial inability to secure the necessities and basic materials for a normal living life, in addition to the absence of the infrastructure for the necessities of life.

Project Significance:

This campaign comes to provide foodstuffs and basic things that most of the residents of the camps in Taiz and Marib depend on, due to the poor economic situation and the inability to afford basic foodstuffs, due to the extreme poverty they suffer from in those camps.

With the advent of the month of Ramadan, the residents of these camps are experiencing the bitterness of displacement, the bitterness of the exorbitant rise in food and consumer prices, and the interruption of salaries. Therefore, this project presents an initiative to provide a Ramadan food basket that will help these families to achieve nutritional stability in this holy month and meet their basic needs.

Project Targets:

The cities of Taiz and Marib - camp residents.

Number: 200 families living in tents.

Need and financial study:

Each family needs $65, with the following details:

o Flour 25 kilos: $17.

o Sugar 10 kilos: $8.

o 4 liters of oil: $8.

o Milk powder 2 kg: 5.5 $.

2 kilo dates: $3.

o Sauce packet (70 tablets): $4.

o Ground salt: 2.5$.

o Basmati rice 10 kilos: $17.

Total: 200 families * $65, which equals $13,000, the value of the project.
