15 days New-born Baby Fatimah has a life-threatening congenital heart defect. She needs urgent and immediate surgery. Without surgery, this little one has no chance of survival.

She has been diagnosed with Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries. It is a condition in which the two main arteries carrying blood out of the heart (the main pulmonary artery and the aorta) are switched in position, or “transposed.”

To save her life, Baby Fatimah needs to undergo an Arterial Switch surgery. She has been tentatively scheduled for it in mid-September and we are helping his underprivileged family to raise the much-needed funds for it.

Last two months ago Fatima’s father passed away due to covid-19 at Chittagong Medical Hospital and her Mother’s still in hospital on quarantine due to positive covid. She doesn't have any family members to support and Fatima’s mother got support from neighbors with that mother completed payment for delivery.   

Allah tells us that “If anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole humanity.” Quran 5:32

When asked about what are mother wishes for her daughter, She just wants her baby to be healthy but dare not hope for it.
