Worsening flood turns the state of Pahang and other states into a Disaster area

in the first week of the new year 2021, particularly on the forth of January. the Meteorology Department of Malaysia has issued a third category warning on strong winds and rough seas at 50-60kmph in the South China Sea with wave height up to 4.5 meters over water. It is expected to last until 21st January 2021.

this warning became a reality and resulted in massive floods that hit the state of Pahang in Malaysia. the floods have submerged most of the settlements with water rising above the building roofs and thus led to displacement of thousands of victims counting for almost 21,194 people until this moment. Many of whom are now stranded in the flood area and inundated with water up to two-meters deep and impassable to all vehicles.

As per today, 6 states including Pahang, Johor, Terengganu, Kelantan, Perak and Selangor have been affected and the victims are continue to rise! Kota Tinggi, one of the affected area has seen the worse floods to hit since major floods in 2006.

Ensany Global foundation for charity is finding and calling for your kind support to help us lend a hand to our brothers and sisters who are now impacted by floods with COVID-19 still rising in Malaysia. Some of which have prepared supplies for their children's schools that have now destroyed and lost in the water while others have to wait for lack of food and essentials in distress moments.

Again, today is a call for us. We plan to increase the donation amount of RM 100,000 to be distributed in 3 major flood affected areas in Pahang, Johor and Terengganu.
