I'm Barham Muhammad Abu Samaha, from Gaza. I am 52 years old. We are three families living in a three-room house and a dilapidated house with mice and birds. There are eight members in the family with three families, each family lives in one room only. My two older sons are married and have families, while my third has indeed been engaged for two years and is unable to marry because he or we can't afford to pay the dowry and he don't have a home as well. Our only house is very old, and we suffer from both summer heat and winter cold. A terrible house, unfit for human habitation.

In addition, the walls of the house are in disrepair. I as an old man who is retired and my foot is disabled as a result of a gunshot wound, can’t support or promise my family with their daily meal, regardless of a house in order to live in peace and clean environment for the children. And my grandson suffers from convulsions and requires medication that costs roughly $90 per month. I and my family need you and your contribution will be vital to helping us succeed in building our new home.

انا برهم محمد ابو سماحة من سكان غزه. أبلغ من العمر 52. نحن 3 عائلات نسكن في 3 غرف وبيت متهالك جدا وتسكنه معنا الفئران والطيور. جميع أفراد العائله 8. ابنائي 6  و 2 متزوجين و لديهم عائلة والثالث خاطب منذ سنتين وغير قادر علي الزواج لانه لم يدفع المهر المقدم ولا يوجد لهم بيت. بيتنا قديم جدا ونعاني من حراره الصيف وبرد الشتاء. بيت سئ جدا لا يصلح للعيش الآدمي. وبيت جدرانه متهالكه. لدي إعاقة في قدمي بطلق ناري و حفيدي يعاني من تشنجات ويأخذ أدوية تقدر تقريبا 90 دولار شهرياً واتمنى بيت يأوينا من حر الصيف وبرد الشتاء و بناء بيت لنا.
