I am Manarr Bilal, a 21 year old Palestinian journalist and university student from Gaza.

Since the first days of the aggression, I have been among the rubble and smoke, documenting the bombing, hunger, fear, and people's resilience... all through the lens of my simple phone.

It wasn't easy working in the field while watching our home collapse before our eyes…

 I suffered greatly and lost family members who were a part of my life.

Today, I work with the most basic means, and my phone no longer serves me as I should.
