I am Abood Helles, from Gaza.

In these harsh conditions our people in the Gaza Strip are experiencing, I find myself homeless after losing my home, and without work that provides me with a daily living.

Displacement has become our reality, and oppression has become part of our daily lives.

We live amidst the rubble, without sufficient food, clean water, or even the most basic health services that guarantee life.

Every day, I see the pain on the faces of children, the tears on the faces of mothers, and the steadfastness on the faces of fathers.

I try to resist, to continue, to live, but I cannot do it alone. Today, I need your help so that I can regain some of my dignity and life, and provide my family with some security amidst this devastation.

I hope that you will support and help me at this stage. Every bit of your assistance gives me a new chance to overcome this ordeal and keeps me hopeful that life can begin again despite all the devastation.
