Help poor people in Somalia have theri share of meat in the day of Eid Al Adha 2020

‘There is indeed a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah [saw] - for the one who has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah profusely’. (Qur’an 33:21)

Therefore, there are great rewards in following his actions, and what an opportunity we have every year to make one extra sacrifice for the Ummah just as our Prophet (saw) did. The extra sacrifice can be given to the needy in the same way that Zakat al-Fitr is given at the end of Ramadan, so that the poorest communities can enjoy a healthy, filling meal with fresh meat on the days of Eid-ul-Adha.

This year, the African relief committee in Somalia appeals to all kind and supportive donors to revive the neglected Sunnah by giving a Prophetic Qurbani alongside with the own sacrifice. By doing this, you will be doubling your impact by providing food to even more needy families and refugees, many of whom will enjoy a meal with meat only on the days of Eid-ul-Adha.

Many are those who cannot afford meat a single day throughout the year. For countless deprived people, the pleasure of eating meat is only possible once a year. Your Qurbani, helps us fight against malnutrition & hunger.

Recipient families receive a package containing enough meat to feed not one, but an entire family. The most desired animal for Qurbani in Somalia, is Cow. We would cherish your support to help us raise an amount of $2,600 to purchase these animals for a number of 320 beneficiary families .

How can you help? 

The African relief committee is planning to buy 40 sacrifice of sheep, whereby the price of one sheep  costs around $65 dollars which is enough to be distributed fairly for a number of 8 families
The total number of family beneficiaries is 320, and the total fund to be raised for this campaign is $ 2,600
