Hamza's battle with Crohn's disease

I am a patient from Gaza, diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a type of inflammatory bowel disease. This disease causes inflammation of the digestive system, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. It is also painful and debilitating, and may sometimes lead to life-threatening complications. I am unable to work because of my illness, and my father is a taxi driver. This diagnosis was an obvious concern, but the doctors believed that I would have some time before potential complications arose. My testing and medical treatment has been ongoing and arduous, as well as life-threatening on several occasions. I have begun the slow, painful and arduous road to recovery. However, didn’t receive enough support through these most challenging of circumstances. I hope you can support my recovery. Through Ensany campaign my family and I are hoping this will help offset the stress and expenses related to medical care.
