Urgent relief food to Butebo people in eastern Uganda; We kindly apply for urgent relief food for Butebo people in esteem Uganda The Butebo tribe live as their ancestors did a thousand years ago, the government, and the international NGOs need to find a way out of the almost continual need for relief, this will be a vital part of the solution, Butebo is the poorest and most marginalized region in Uganda which has not had a successful harvest for many years and where more than 80% of 1 he population lives in poverty.

Pastoralism as major livelihood, High population growth rat Highest income poverty levels, Historical marginalization, Semi-arid area covering appro x 27, 200 sq kms, Inadequate and unreliable rainfall, Five of every six crops fail, Small agriculture, nomadic way. We kindly request you to come up to the rescue of this marginalized group that is surviving on wild animals that are caught by chance.

These needier vulnerable are facing prospects of tragic crop failures, much reduced agricultural productivity and increased hunger, malnutrition and diseases and the most vulnerable people are the children, women and the aged who are dying day after day as a result of the above Landslide floods and long drought swept away all their very small gardens which they cultivate for both food and income Kekebu Muslim aid Organization general assembly would like to direct this urgent call to all humanitarian agencies and organizations, to provide humanitarian assistance to the Butebo people who are facing difficult humanitarian situation as a result of drought.

The Butebo people who are naturally plagued, are now facing famine because of lack of rain for many consecutive years. The drought and famine have resulted in the death of many people in butebo and the deterioration of humanitarian situation there.

It is the responsibility of the people of the world to come to the help of their brothers in need. We should feel for each other. It is our consolidated responsibility to provide humanitarian assistance to those who are in need.
