At Taqat, we believe in something simple but powerful: Gaza’s youth don’t need handouts. They need opportunities.

That’s why Taqat is more than just a working space. Today, we operate three active branches serving over 500 freelancers, remote workers, and job seekers across Gaza.

We provide the tools, support, and environment young people need to develop digital skills and earn a dignified income by connecting with global opportunities.

What We Do.

Taqat is a development hub that equips Gaza’s youth for the future of work. Under one roof, we offer job-readiness training, coworking infrastructure, and connections to global employers.

Our current programs include:

• Taqat First Job – Helping young people secure their first freelance project.
  TaqatHero – A fast-track training program for teens aged 14 to 18 to learn in-demand digital skills.
  Gaza Works With the World – An employment support initiative that creates sustainable job pathways instead of short-term relief.

We also incubate small businesses, host workshops, and offer one-on-one mentorship. Everything we do is built to help Gaza’s youth build real careers.

Before the war, over 30,000 young people in Gaza used to work online as developers, designers, marketers, and more. These jobs were their only reliable source of income.

When the war began, and power and internet access collapsed, most of them lost their contracts and clients overnight. Their livelihoods vanished.

Taqat was created as an alternative to traditional aid; a way to restore purpose, stability, and dignity through work. We began with solar panels, slow internet, and determination. Today, thanks to the support of people like you, we’ve helped hundreds return to work and rebuild their lives.
