Build a Waqf Well for a village in Indonesia

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”

 Sunan al-Nasā’ī 3664

                             بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

Assaalmualaikum Dear brothers and sisters, water is created by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala as an essential part of life. As revealed in the Quranul Kareem ‘By means of water, we give life to everything’. (Qur’an, 21:30)

Every living being on earth needs water to sustain its life and in which without it life cannot flourish. Water is an essential part of human life, and can impact communities and societies

The community in a village in the part of Sumedang in Indonesia is also one impacted by water, or lack of it. The village is located on a relatively higher ground than its neighboring villages, therefore water  expends more quickly due to it flowing into lower grounds. The villagers experience shortage of water for daily consumption and also for activities in the mosque, especially for wudhu

In order to solve this problem, the villagers with Rumah Wakaf Indonesia decided to build a well right besides the local mosque. However, in order to build it, the villagers needs to bore the hole down more than 20m, and acquire materials and workforce for the well. For that they need considerable amount of fee. The cost is broken down as follows

1.  $1500 for materials
2. $1500 for drilling and general manpower

The villagers in Tanjungsari needs your help. This is your chance to attain everflowing baraqa and goodness by donating waqf for this well, and for each water and benefit it brings for the community and the mosque, inshAllah it will also be  baraqa for you and investment of .good deeds for the afterlife
