I am Momin Fawzi Abu Owda,

a Palestinian journalist and photographer from the heart of Gaza... from Shuhada Street, which lost its sons one by one.

Throughout the war, my lens witnessed the pain. 

I conveyed the truth as it was, documented the destruction, heard the groans of the wounded, and brought to the world images of the pain we are experiencing in Gaza.

But today, after the war has stopped.. I realize that the hardest part has just begun.

The war is over, but its effects haunt every home. 

The displaced live in tents that provide neither protection from the cold nor the heat. 

Children sleep on the ground, and hearts are burdened with irreparable loss.

Gaza today is not screaming from the sound of the bombing, but from the painful silence that follows it... from hunger, from helplessness, from waiting for aid that never arrives.

 That's why I launched my campaign for them.. so that we can continue to provide relief to those exhausted by war who have yet to find anyone to extend a helping hand and compassion.

We are not seeking sympathy, but rather a responsibility... a responsibility not to leave after the smoke has settled,

to remain with Gaza as it tries to rise from the ashes.
