Supporting New Beginnings

The Marriage Facilitation Project by Sanabel is a dedicated grant initiative designed to support girls from low-income Muslim families who intend to get married but lack the financial means. The project aims to empower these families by alleviating the heavy financial burden associated with marriage preparations.

The Challenge Many families, particularly those who have lost a provider or suffer from financial difficulties, face significant challenges in managing marriage costs. The extreme inflation and high prices of essential electrical appliances and furniture have made it nearly impossible for underprivileged families to prepare their daughters for marriage, leading to delayed marriages and social stagnation.

Project Goals & Impact The project aims to provide wedding gifts and essential household items for 200 girls. By doing so, the initiative seeks to:

Safeguard Muslim girls from the risk of delayed marriage due to financial constraints.

Contribute to the construction of new, stable Muslim households.

Preserve the dignity and virtuousness of the community's youth.

What the Grant Covers The estimated cost to prepare one bride is $4,000, which covers essentials such as:

Electrical Appliances (Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Stove).

Furniture and Kitchen Supplies.

Bridal clothes and personal care items.

Wedding costs.
