Ramadan returns to Gaza

while the hearts of its people are heavy, and the homes that once echoed with Qur’anic verses and were adorned with joy have turned into tents filled with patience and pain.

Ramadan comes bearing the harsh scars of war in every corner: scarce food, precious water, families waiting for an iftar to sustain their exhausted bodies, a food parcel to meet their basic needs, and an orphan longing for safety and clothing to shield them from the cold.

Why do we raise our cry today?

Because the people of Gaza do not live Ramadan as we do; they endure suffering and pain.

And we stand before a true test of generosity.

We have launched the campaign
