Why the name Safura?

Safura was a young, brave girl who passed away after battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Lymphoblastic Philadelphia-positive leukemia, for six years. At the time, she was one of only two patients in the country facing this condition. Her courage, patience, and strength inspired everyone who knew her, and this academy is named in her memory so that knowledge, faith, and good deeds continue to benefit others as a lasting legacy.

We are raising $3.6 million to purchase our first property in New Zealand's largest city Auckland, which will include a Community Learning Hub, Islamic Library, Prayer Space, Classrooms, and Youth Facilities and offer degrees.
