This year, the blessed month of Ramadan arrives while residents of the Gaza Strip continue to face deteriorating economic conditions that prevent them from purchasing food and essential supplies. The Distinguished Ramadan Food Basket project, implemented by Merciful Hearts, aims to meet a greater portion of the food needs of needy and displaced families by providing essential food items, in addition to other varieties of food.

About the Project:
This project aims to distribute essential food items such as rice, oil, and tomatoes, in addition to other products such as vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, and more.

Target Groups:

Poor and needy families.

Displaced families in shelter camps.

Importance of the Project:

Alleviating the severity of humanitarian suffering among Gaza’s residents.

Meeting a greater share of families’ food needs during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Combating the effects of malnutrition caused by famine.
