Times like these demonstrate our willingness, love and compassion in using our resources to help those who need our help the most: vulnerable children, elderly, sick and the needy.

Why does it matter?

Due to the Corona-virus and growing economic instability, Poor families in the area of Cox’s Bazar are experiencing hard times. Many parents can’t provide basic necessities for their children. The Elderly and widowed have no means of financial assistance, and people are living under the poverty line earning only $2/day, sometimes even less than that.

Change Makers, Youth volunteer will take over the initiative and distribute 200 food baskets to the real needy families

This initiative is planning daily distributions of 200 food baskets to 200 families living in hard-to-reach and under-served homes. These help is a lifeline for most, and with your support, Change Maker’s will have the greatest reach.

What do we aim from this campaign? 

With your zakat-eligible donation, Change Maker’s team is working to distribute 200 food baskets to 200 families with 1678 needy elderly man and woman, child, orphan and widow. Each basket contains staple and high protein food items that feed a family of six, as well as basic hygiene items to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Poor families need your help

For the poor and needy, every day is a struggle to put the food on the table and feed their families. At least during this hard time let us feed the hungry children, elderly , sick and the needy in Cox’s Bazar area where there are lots of vulnerable families and where life is challenging.

The one who gives charity Allah will add to his respect 

Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrated Allah’s Messenger (S.A.W.) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith 6264)
