Iftar for Orphans in Africa

We need help to provide iftar for 450 orphans for a minimum of 50 US Cents per child per day. That's a total of 225 USD per day.
The New Midland Islamic Orphanage and Primary School are home to about 450 children. Thirty of them are HIV positive after being born to HIV positive parents.
To provide food for the children, the orphanage acquired a small piece of land where the children are trained to grow staple crops like corn, cassava, sweet potatoes and beans. These have to be supplemented with imported items like sugar, cooking oil, rice, beef and fish, etc.

New Midland Islamic Orphanage and Primary School depend on donations from the public to raise money for feeding the children, paying workers, and providing shelter and clothing.
Covid-19 Restrictions

While Uganda has so far not been badly affected by the Covic-19 pandemic, the Ugandan government took drastic precautionary measures which include suspension of congregational prayers in the mosques.
Since charities like New Midland Islamic Orphanage depend on collections from the jamaah, there has been a drastic reduction of income for the orphanage.
The prices of food and other necessities have significantly increased during the lockdown period due to difficulties in transportation and getting access to imported items like sugar, cooking oil and rice.
