Support for Brother Abdullah Ahad James
***English***
Life does not always go smoothly, we hope for sunshine all day but sometimes get rain in the afternoon. Our brother, Abdullah Ahad James, originally Rolfe Karl James, came from the UK to Malaysia in 2008 after receiving a good job offer from a company in Malaysia with a salary of RM17,905($3,805). He is a 58-year-old architect married to a Malaysian citizen, and they have two children, aged 9 and 6.
In the midst of a happy family life, a heavy test came upon them. Abdullah developed a condition requiring surgery on his neck, which led to him being laid off. Since then, their lives have changed. They couldn't pay the rent, and now they owe about RM23,000 ($4,900). Eventually, they were evicted from their home. His wife could no longer tolerate his inability to fulfill his responsibilities as a husband. Abdullah showed signs of depression and slow response due to the surgery. Eventually, his wife and children moved out and rented a much cheaper house, around RM1,800 ($383) per month. His ex-wife works, although her salary is not high, but enough to sustain life with the children. This has been going on for the past four years, and they were officially divorced in early January 2020.
Now, Abdullah is living on the streets, moving from surau to mosque for four years just to get a meal. His passport is lost, and the landlord is trying to contact him, but he is avoiding them because he cannot pay the debt. Recently, Ensany found him at Surau Perkim Pusat Jalan Ipoh. He requested assistance and agreed to open this campaign.
Abdullah wants to return to the UK but needs funds for:
1. Passport replacement: RM1,000
2. Paying outstanding rent: RM23,000 (the landlord is still demanding this from his ex-wife).
3. Immigration fees: RM3,500
4. Ticket from KL to UK: RM3,000
5. Expenses for the children left behind: RM5,000
6. Daily expenses until the campaign is successful: RM1,500
The total amount including management fees is RM41,625/ $8,856
For all donors, NGO Ensany will ensure that all funds collected for this campaign will be used to settle debts, immigration processes, purchase tickets, and provide for the children, all in the presence of Abdullah. Insha Allah. We will ensure he leaves the country.
Therefore, to all those whom Allah has blessed with wealth, we hope you will be generous in helping this brother so that he can return to his homeland. We understand that his elderly mother still needs his presence.
InshaAllah, anyone who wishes to contribute can do so via the provided link, online banking, or QR code.

Bantuan Untuk Saudara Baru Abdullah Ahad James
1. Urusan penggantian pasport: RM1,000
3. Urusan imigresen: RM3,500
4. Tiket KL-UK: RM3,000
5. Belanja anak yang ditinggalkan: RM5,000
6. Belanja harian sebelum kempen ini berjaya terkumpul: RM1,500
Jumlah keseluruhan termasuk pengurusan berkisar RM41,625.
