As Eid-ul-Fitr approaches, a painful question haunts the eyes of mothers: "How will I face my children on Eid morning while I am unable to clothe them?" We are launching the "Dressing Hope" campaign as an essential extension of our psychosocial mission, ensuring that the light does not fade from children’s faces on their big day.

Healing the Mother through the Child’s Joy

This initiative exclusively targets the same 100 families (mothers and children) enrolled in our specialized mental health program. Experience has taught us that a mother’s recovery is deeply intertwined with her children’s psychological state. Seeing her child in new Eid clothes restores a sense of pride and agency to the mother—especially widows—acting as a powerful catalyst that lifts the spirit of the entire household and reinforces their emotional resilience.

 What Do We Actually Provide? (The Clothing Kit Details)

With a contribution of $60, we don't just buy a piece of clothing; we prepare a "Complete Eid Kit" that honors the child’s dignity, including:

• Full Outer Outfit: (High quality to withstand displacement conditions).
• New Shoes: To replace what was worn out by the long distances traveled on foot.
• Underwear and Socks: To ensure full covering and personal hygiene.
• A Touch of Joy: (A simple accessory or headcover) to complete the Eid image in their eyes.

Dignity of Choice and Transparency

Our psychosocial and field teams will manage the distribution to ensure:

• Empowering the Mother: We involve mothers in choosing colors and sizes, making the donation a "gift from the mother to her child," which reinforces her parental authority and family dignity.
• Real-time Transparency (Telegram): We will share the moments of mothers choosing and preparing the kits with our donors via our private Telegram channel (strictly respecting facial privacy), bringing the impact of your donation to you as it happens.
• A Safe Environment: Distribution takes place with full privacy in locations close to the families to avoid humiliating waiting lines.
